Over half of Mexico’s indigenous people groups are located in the southern state of Oaxaca (pronounced WA-HA-KA). The state holds one of the largest unreached people groups in the world, and the largest concentration of different people groups in all of the Americas. There are over 150 different language specific ethnic groups in Oaxaca, which adds a challenge to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Project Compassion Oaxaca conducts gospel based outreach trips providing medical, dental and construction services to the remote villages of Oaxaca and neighboring states. PCO Often hosts church teams from other countries who have an interest in ministering on the field.
